Melody Browne doesn't have any memory of her life before the age of 9. One night she went to a magic show and her past started to unravel bit by bit in her memory.

Determined to find the truth about her past, she started revisiting places she suddenly recalled, hoping that it will trigger her memory and eventually lead her to discover what happened in the past, as she always felt like there was a void that needed to be filled.

I've read a novel of a similar theme before, What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty, and I feel like this is a better take on a story about memory loss.

At the end it makes you wonder whether the truth really sets you free.
