DIAH 'O' METER 3.5/7
This book is supposedly a historical fiction. I've only read one historical fiction in the past, The Last Collection by Jeanne Mackin, and I enjoyed reading about the rivalry between Coco Chanel and Elsa Schiaparelli in that book. This, I felt, was nothing like it.
Aside from the fact that the characters didn't use cellphones, there wasn't much other indications that the story was written about a time in the past.
It does comprise of a mystery element, which makes the book quite interesting, but I didn't feel like it was satisfying enough at the end.
Worth reading/okay/not
