DIAH 'O' METER 2.5/7
At first, I was so excited to read this book. I was desperate to be able to get a copy of this and was over the moon when I finally could. Judging from the cover, I deduced that it will be something about a grandma/a mother neglecting her child. True enough, it touched a little bit on that subject, but unfortunately the story didn't pan out to be at all how I imagined it to be. In short, it fell short of my expectations. The book actually started out great, it's got that element of suspense, urging you to find out what really happened. But sadly maybe it's just not my cup of tea and I end up being confused in most parts of the book. Also the ending was not very mind boggling. I wished the writer would have discussed more about how the beginning relates to the end, but most part of the book was just about a different story altogether.
