This is my first Wendy Walker book, and I have to admit I was quite impressed. There were just enough element of suspense to keep one reading and curious to find out what happens in the end. There were more than one twist in the story, also elements of surprise added towards the end that I thought added value to the overall story.

The main theme is family, and how you shouldn't utter things you don't mean.
