DIAH ‘O’ METER: 6/7
What I loved most about this book was the narrative. It was quite a shock to find out about the wives in the second part, but honestly kind of saw it coming because of the taglines at the back at the book. Overall, the story line was okay. Maybe I shouldn’t have picked this right after reading The Other Woman because they both brought about similar theme. I think the main character's fear of being haunted by her past added a useless chunk in the book. Okay we needed some explanation for her abortion but donating to a pet center due to guilt? I don’t think I needed to read about it. Also, instead of adding Maggie to the story, why not write some insight on the mysterious ex wife? That would have been more interesting.
Worth reading/ okay/ not
